Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari has given reasons why she left the country for over two months.

Okay.ng reports that the first lady departed London for Abuja on Saturday, October 12, 2019.

Mrs. Buhari arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 4.30 am through a British Airways flight on October 13, 2019.

Speaking to reporters at the airport, Aisha said before the advent of this administration it had always been the custom for her to take a long vacation with her children.

She said: “Since the president was elected and due to exigencies of duty it has not been possible, however this year I decided to break the jinx and spend time with them, especially since Mr. President has graciously appointed Special Advisers and Personal assistants to me.”
