Reports from Dino Melaye’s polling unit, PU 004, Ayetoro ward 1 in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state, says that some thugs have snatched ballot boxes and chased voters.
Okay.ng understands that Melaye has already cast his vote before the incident occurred on Saturday, November, 16.
One person at the scene was reportedly shot as the thugs opened fire on their arrival at the polling unit.
It can be recalled that an appeal court sacked Melaye as senator Kogi west.
He is contesting a re-rerun in the zone ordered by the court against Smart Adeyemi.
