The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), David Lyon, has won the governorship election in Bayelsa State.

Lyon secured 352,552 votes to defeat Douye Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 143,170.

The APC won six out of eight locals government areas in the state.

Here are full results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday.
