Former Vice-President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has taken to his official Twitter handle (@Atiku) to mourn his late aide, Umar Pariya.
Atiku in his message on Tuesday said Pariya was much more than a longstanding aide to him.
He tweeted: “Umar Pariya was much more than a longstanding aide to me; he was incredibly loyal and qualified as a member of my family. He will be missed. May Allah comfort his family, forgive his sins and grant him AlJannah Firdaus. Ameen.”
Okay.ng had earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari sent his condolence message to Atiku over Pariya’s death.
