The House of Representatives has raised the 2020 appropriations bill from the N10.33trillion president by President Muhamadu Buhari to N10.59trillion.

Okay.ng understands this is coming after submission of the final report of the budget on Wednesday by Chairman of the Reps committee, Muktar Batera.

Here is the new breakdown of the 2020 Budget after the increment:

N560,470,827,235 — Statutory Transfers

N2,725,498,930,000 — Debt Service

N4,842,974,600,640 — Recurrent (Non-Debt) Expenditure

N2,465,418,006,955 — contribution to the Development Fund for Capital Expenditure

IN TOTAL: N10,594,362,364,830
