The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 313 news case of COVID-19 in Nigeria on Sunday, May 24, 2020.

According to NCDC, Of the 313 new cases, 148 are in Lagos, 36 in FCT, 27 in Rivers, 19 in Edo, 13 in Kano, 12 in Ogun, 11 in Ebonyi, 8 in Nasarawa, 8 in Delta, 7 in Oyo, 6 in Plateau, 5 in Kaduna, 4 in Kwara, 3 in Akwa Ibom, 3 in Bayelsa, 2 in Niger and 1 in Anambra.

The NCDC also announced that as of 11:10 pm on 24th May, there are 7839 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

Two thousand, two hundred and sixty-three (2263) patients have been discharged with two hundred and twenty-six (226) deaths across the country.
