COVID-19: 681 new cases, 5 deaths recorded in Nigeria on June 11

Nigeria has recorded 681 new cases of COVID-19 and 5 deaths on Thursday, June 11th, 2020.

Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 17 states, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 345 cases.

The states with the 681 new cases are Lagos(345), Rivers(51), Ogun(48), Gombe(47), Oyo(36), Imo(31), Delta(28), Kano(23), Bauchi(18), Edo(12), Katsina(12), Kaduna(9), Anambra( 7), Jigawa(5), Kebbi(4), Ondo(4), Nasarawa(1)

NCDC also announced that as of 11:50 pm on 11th June, there are 14,554 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

Four thousand, four hundred and ninety-four (4,494) patients have been discharged with three hundred and eighty-seven (387) deaths across the country.
