Policemen attached to Burna Boy arrested over club shooting incident

The five policemen alledgedly involved in a club shooting incident have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force.

This announcement was contained in a statement signed and released by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Relations Officer on 12th June 2022.

CSP Adejobi stated inter-alia, that the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba has “directed the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Abiodun Alabi, to carry out a thorough investigation into the matter and forward his report as urgent as possible for further action.”

Okay.ng gathered that the shooting incident happened in Cubana Club, Victoria Island, Lagos.

It involved Nigerian singer, Burna Boy and two victims.

Emerging reports claim that hell was let loose after the 2021 Grammy Award-winning artiste instructed one of his police entourage to invite over a “pretty lady” who was together with her husband.

As an argument ensued between the husband and the police escort, the uniformed personne pulled a pistol and shot the man multiple times.
