Imam who saved 262 Christians to get national award

An 86-year-old Islamic cleric in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Imam Abdullahi Abubakar will receive a National Honour this week.

Okay.ng recalls that Imam Abubakar risked his life to hide 262 Christians in a mosque during a clash in Yelwa Gindi Village,

President Muhammadu Buhari will present the award to him on October 11, 2022 at the State House in Abuja.
