The Lagos State Government has launched an investigation into the conduct of nurses in the private hospital where reality TV star, Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey died.

Okay.ng recalls that the ex-BB Naija housemate was pronounced dead shortly after he was rushed to a hospital following an auto crash on Thursday morning.

A viral video shows nurses in the Lagos private hospital filming Rico Swavey who laid on an hospital bed with oxygen beside him.

The video provoked reactions from social media users who condemned the nonchalant attitude of the healthcare providers.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotosho, who confirmed the investigation said the government will begin by closing the hospital if report shows they are guilty of negligence.

The death of the popular Nigerian celebrity and ex-Big Brother Naija housemate on Thursday is still a shock to many of his fans and colleagues.
