Buhari felicitates with Brazil’s new president-elect Lula Da Silva

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Brazil’s newly-elected President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, on winning a hard-fought, divisive run-off election.

While congratulating da Silva on staging an astonishing come-back after leaving office and serving jail term.

President Buhari hoped that da Silver, as President, would further enhance the excellent relations between Brazil and Nigeria.

“I hope to see us working together with the newly elected President of Brazil to continue the excellent bilateral cooperation and growing trade relations between our two countries,” the President added.
