Fire engulfs fuel tanker at Conoil station in Abuja

A tanker carrying petrol caught fire while offloading fuel at a Conoil station in Abuja’s Area 10 on Saturday afternoon.

Okay.ng gathered that the fire started at around 3:35 pm, with some fuel reportedly spilling out of the tanker.

No injuries or fatalities have been reported, but a few cars were damaged by the flames.

Traffic in the area has been blocked off by the Nigerian Police and Federal Road Safety Corps, as firefighting teams work to extinguish the fire.
