President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) must come together in order to achieve electoral victory.

This comes after Buhari met with Dikko Radda, the APC governorship candidate in Katsina, and Faruk Lawal Jobe, Radda’s running mate.

During the meeting, Buhari emphasized the need for party leaders to come together and ensure unity within the party. He also spoke positively about the ongoing campaigns in Katsina, expressing his satisfaction with the hard work being put into the election efforts.

The president reiterated his commitment to ensuring free, fair, and credible elections in the country. Buhari said that the outcomes of the elections in Anambra, Ekiti, and Osun states were proof of his commitment to this goal.

President Buhari also vowed not to allow anyone to use money and thugs to intimidate voters, saying that Nigerians are now wiser and more aware of the importance of dialogue.

“We shall not allow anyone to use money and thugs to intimidate the people,” Buhari said. “Nigerians know better now, they are wiser and know that it is better to dialogue than to carry weapons. Elections are even more difficult to rig now.”

In closing, Buhari expressed his honour at being visited by the candidates and wished them success in the upcoming elections.
