Seplat Energy Plc, a leading Nigerian energy company listed on the Nigerian and London Stock Exchanges, has partnered with Conversations for Change (C4C) to empower 22 entrepreneurs through the Youth Entrepreneurship Programme.

The empowered entrepreneurs unveiled their business plans at the Lux Terra Leadership and Training Centre in Abuja following the 2022 C4C Global Entrepreneurship Fellowship Programme.

The businesses represented include fashion, catering, café, fish drying, spices, fabric sales, bag making, shoe making, footwear, confectionaries, agro processing, palm oil production, herbal skincare, salon and spa, plants and flowers, gift curation, photography, and laundry services.

The entrepreneurs, aged 18-40, have been equipped to start their own businesses and are expected to provide support not only for themselves and their families, but also for their communities, countries, and the world. C4C is a non-profit organization that aims to empower young people to effectively participate in all areas of development.

Seplat Energy is addressing social challenges in Nigeria, particularly Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, and 8 on no poverty, zero hunger, and decent work and economic growth, through empowerment.

The entrepreneurs thanked Seplat Energy and C4C for their investment in their futures and wished both organizations success in their endeavors.
