Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party in Nigeria, extended his warmest greetings to the nation and encouraged Nigerians to achieve their goals, build fruitful relationships, and create memories of joy, love, and peace in the coming year.

Obi in his New Year’s message recognized the challenges that Nigeria has faced as a nation, but he also highlighted the resilience and strength of the people, stating, “despite our challenges as a Nation, you crossed over and are still standing.”

He went on to thank his supporters and members of the Labour Party, saying, “to our Support Groups, Labour Party Members, Labour Union members and Nigerians who have continued to support our campaign, thank you for joining the Obidient Movement and for everything you’ve done and will do to help our campaign.”

The presidential candidate emphasized his commitment to serving Nigeria with love, strength, and faith and implementing the Labour Party’s manifesto, titled “Our Pact With Nigeria,” if elected in the upcoming presidential elections on February 25th.

He stated, “Datti Baba-Ahmed and I are committed to lead, we need your support. We implore you to secure your PVC, come out with your family and friends on the 25th Febuary and VOTE FOR YOUR FUTURE! VOTE LABOUR PARTY! VOTE PETER OBI/DATTI BABA-AHMED!”

Obi went on to outline some of the key goals and priorities of the Labour Party, including ending poverty and hunger through agricultural revolution, particularly in the northern region of the country, empowering children and youths through proper education and health, and working towards the creation of a “new Nigeria, a renewed nation bound in freedom, prosperity, peace and unity.”

He concluded by urging Nigerians to support the Labour Party in the upcoming elections, saying, “in 2023, with your continued support, victory is ours.”

The presidential candidate ended his message by wishing Nigerians and their families joy, peace, good health, and happiness in the new year and in the future.

He said, “from my family, the Labour Party and members of the ObiDatti Campaign, we wish you and your family joy, peace, good health and happiness this year and future years to come. Happy New Year.”
