Labour Party Has Won Its First National Assembly Seat Following The Declaration Of Hon. Ginger Onwusibe As House Of Representatives Member-Elect For Isialangwa North And South Federal Constituency Of Abia State, By The Independent National Electoral Commission.

Onwusibe Defeated Professor Anthony Agbazuere, Immediate Past Chief Of Staff To Governor Okezie Ikpeazu In The Election.

Ginger Polled A Total Number Of 20,411 Valid Votes To Defeat His PDP Opponent Who Polled A Total Of 13508 Votes. He Also Defeated Professor Agbazuere In His Local Government, Which Is Isialangwa South L.G.A.
