President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in his hometown of Daura, Katsina state on Wednesday.
Tinubu led a delegation of prominent politicians on a thank-you visit to the President. The delegation included Atiku Bagudu, Governor of Kebbi; Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun; Nasir el-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna; and Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Other notable attendees were Governor of Ebonyi, Dave Umahi; Governor of Zamfara, Bello Matawalle; Governor of Jigawa, Abubakar Badaru; Governor of Katsina, Aminu Masari; Governor of Niger, Sani Bello and Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, among others.
