President Muhammadu Buhari has joined leaders and members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in celebrating the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on his 81st birthday.
The President, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, praised Pastor Adeboye for his dedication to serving God and humanity.
He recalled and appreciated his visits and prayers during the time he was sick and recuperating.
He also acknowledged his contributions to national development through his teachings, guidance and philanthropic gestures.
The President prayed that God would grant Pastor Adeboye long life, good health and more wisdom to continue leading His flock.
