President Bola Tinubu has appointed Mr. Shaakaa Chira as the substantive Auditor-General of the Federation.
The appointment was announced in a statement on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
According to the statement, the appointment was based on the recommendation of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) and is in line with the powers vested in the President by Section 86 of the 1999 Constitution (Amended).
