Nigerian rapper Oladips, who was previously reported to have passed away, has surfaced with new evidence to debunk the death rumors and confirm that he is alive and well.

The clarification came through a recent Instagram story posted by Oladips himself. In the video, captioned in Yoruba language as “Orisha bi Iya Kosi” (There is no deity like a mother), the rapper is casually seen hanging out outside his house with an elderly woman, believed to be his grandmother.

This revelation comes in contrast to the earlier claims made by close friends and associates of Oladips, who asserted that he had passed away after a hospital emergency.

The news of his demise was initially shared by his management on Wednesday morning through the rapper’s official Instagram page.

The obituary post on Oladips’ Instagram page, which had fueled the rumors of his death, has since been deleted.
