The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended Benjamin Ezeukwe, 28, for orchestrating a fraudulent sales promo scheme involving a fake price reduction on Dangote cement.

The arrest followed weeks of extensive investigation by officers of Region A Command of the State Command, culminating in Ezeukwe’s apprehension on October 19, 2023, in the Rumuolumeni region of Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.

In a statement issued by the state’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, it was revealed that the suspect had committed multiple scams of a similar nature.
