Tinubu Suspends NSIPA CEO, Halima Shehu

President Bola Tinubu has approved the immediate suspension of Halima Shehu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and National Coordinator of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).

Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo, the National N-Power Programme manager, has been appointed as the Acting NC/CEO pending the conclusion of the investigation.

Halima Shehu assumed the position of NSIPA CEO after her appointment by President Tinubu in October 2023. Her confirmation by the Senate followed on October 18, 2023.
