UEFA has slapped Barcelona with a fine of at least €32,000 for the conduct of their supporters during the Champions League encounter against Paris Saint-Germain, particularly in the first leg held in Paris, according to reports from Marca.

The governing body highlighted several violations, necessitating the fine. Barcelona is mandated to pay €2,000 for the use of flares, €5,000 for damages incurred, and must contact PSG within 30 days to cover the costs for repairing seats.

Additionally, a substantial sum of €25,000 was levied for the racist behavior exhibited by some of the club’s fans.

This is not the inaugural instance where Barcelona has faced penalties under UEFA’s disciplinary framework.

The club’s followers have previously been penalized for racially offensive remarks on multiple occasions.

Most recently, racial slurs were aimed at Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior during a match against Napoli.

In conjunction with the fine, UEFA has issued an additional punitive measure against Barcelona, stipulating that they are prohibited from selling tickets to their supporters for away fixtures in Europe.

However, this sanction has been deferred for the upcoming year, with the condition that any further transgression will activate its enforcement.

UEFA has issued a stern warning to Barcelona regarding the conduct of their fans
