Nigerian singer Flavour has announced the death of his father on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Flavour shared the sad news on his official social media handle. In his mother tongue, the Igbo language, he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Chukwu wetelu, Chukwu ewelugo,” which translates to “God gave and God has taken.”
In another heartfelt post, the singer shared a touching video of himself singing to his late father, who was seated in a wheelchair.
He captioned it, “Nna m, papa Ijele, Rest well,” which translates to “my father, Ijele’s (his nickname) father, Rest well.”
