The governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, has lifted the curfew imposed on Mangu Local Government Area five months ago.

The curfew was imposed due to violent attacks on communities in the area, resulting in deaths and injuries, and displacement.

Okay.ng reports that the lifting of the curfew follows the return of normalcy to the affected communities and is aimed at allowing residents to engage in agricultural and economic activities.

The governor urged community leaders to continue promoting peace, unity, and understanding among the people and expressed gratitude to security agencies for their efforts in maintaining law and order.
