President Bola Tinubu has congratulated President Cyril Ramaphosa on his re-election as President of South Africa.

In a statement on Saturday night by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Tinubu also commended the people of South Africa on the peaceful and successful conduct of the general election.

The President expressed his wishes for a successful term in office for President Ramaphosa and called for the strengthening of bilateral ties between Nigeria and South Africa as strategic partners in Africa.
