The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has dissociated itself from the planned nationwide protest against bad governance. The group made its position known at a press conference held at its national headquarters in Karu, Nasarawa State, on Monday.

Led by National President Bello Bodejo and National Secretary Saleh Alhassan, the association expressed appreciation for President Bola Tinubu’s establishment of the Ministry of Livestock Development, which they believe will help address farmers/herders clashes.

This development comes as some groups are preparing for the planned protest, while others, like the Northern Nigeria Youth Forum, have also distanced themselves from the demonstration. The protest has generated significant attention, with some appealing to citizens to give the incumbent administration more time to implement its policies.
