Man in Police Custody for Killing Neighbor, Son over Environmental Sanitation

A man in Lagos has been detained by the police for allegedly killing his neighbor, Gloria, and her son over a dispute related to environmental sanitation in Lekki area.

The incident occurred on September 15 around 10:50 pm.

According to the Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the suspect attempted to dispose of the bodies in a large sack, however, neighbors alerted the police at Elemoro division, leading to the suspect’s arrest and recovery of the bodies.

The bodies have been deposited at the Epe General Hospital mortuary for autopsy and preservation, while Police detectives are currently investigating the incident.
