Ogun State is taking proactive steps to boost productivity in its workforce.

The state’s Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ganiyu Hamzat, has emphasized the need to invest in strategies that motivate workers to perform optimally.

This call to action was made at a two-day strategic retreat held in Ijebu-Ode, where the theme “Reinvigorating The Workforce for Increased Productivity” set the tone for the discussions.

The retreat aimed to enhance staff skills, well-being, and productivity, aligning with the government’s goals.

According to Ogun State Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya, productivity in the public sector relies on a motivated, well-equipped, and purpose-driven workforce. He stressed the importance of sustained capacity building for a productive workforce.

By investing in its workforce, Ogun State is poised to enhance productivity, efficiency, and effective service delivery, ultimately contributing to individual prosperity and the state’s development.
