Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has vowed to secure electoral victories for the party in Ondo, Oyo, and Osun states.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Sunday, Ganduje expressed confidence that the APC would dominate the entire Southwest, starting with the Ondo governorship election on November 16, 2024.

During the meeting, Ganduje emphasized the importance of delivering a 100 percent victory for the APC in the geopolitical zone and pledged full support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the upcoming election.

“In this geopolitical zone, we must deliver 100 per cent in favor of APC. Therefore, Ondo State, you must be at the forefront. The two other states – Oyo and Osun – we will capture them, but I will not reveal our secret. We are strategizing. Everything must be 100 per cent behind President Bola Tinubu,” Ganduje stated.

He also announced Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as the Chairman of the National Campaign Council for the Ondo election, underscoring the party’s commitment to ensuring a successful outcome.

“In this coming election, we are solidly behind Governor Aiyedatiwa. We have made arrangements at the national level to have a successful election,” he added.

Ganduje urged party stakeholders to mobilize voters, encouraging them to engage in house-to-house and neighbor-to-neighbor campaigns to ensure a strong voter turnout.

“We are expecting 90 percent votes in the forthcoming governorship election. You have to visit house to house, neighbor to neighbor, and ensure that people come out to vote,” Ganduje said.
