Monday Okpebholo Sworn in as New Governor of Edo State

Senator Monday Okpebholo was officially sworn in as the new Governor of Edo State on Tuesday, alongside his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, at a ceremony held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice of the state, Daniel Okungbowa, as supporters and dignitaries gathered to celebrate the commencement of a new administration.

Both Okpebholo and Idahosa pledged to uphold the constitution, work within its guidelines, and prioritize the well-being of Edo State’s residents.

The pair emphasized their commitment to fostering development and addressing the needs of the people.

The stadium resonated with cheers from party supporters who were present to witness the historic event.
