The incident occurred on February 24, 2025, in Buju village, Dutse Local Government Area, according to police spokesperson SP Shi’isu Adam. Following the attack, Asiyah suffered extensive burns and was immediately transported to Dutse General Hospital for emergency treatment. Despite medical intervention, she succumbed to her injuries on March 4, 2025, at approximately 9:00 am.
