The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced the commencement of the admission process for its 77 Regular Course, calling on qualified applicants to prepare for the next stage of selection.

The NDA, in a statement posted on its official X account, urged all applicants who applied through the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and selected the NDA as their first choice to take note of the updated requirements.

According to the Academy, “candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 in the UTME for all courses, except engineering courses, which requires a minimum score of 210.”

It emphasized that “only candidates that meet these minimum scores will be eligible to select a centre and participate in the NDA Screening Test.”

The NDA Screening Test is scheduled to hold nationwide on May 24, 2025, as part of the rigorous selection process.

“Successful candidates from the screening test will later be invited for the Armed Forces Selection Board at the NDA, where they will undergo comprehensive medical, physical, mental evaluations and other tests,” the Academy added.

It also noted that the final list of admitted candidates will be published in national newspapers and on the NDA’s official website.
