Qatar Airways has confirmed the resumption of flight operations following the reopening of airspace in the State of Qatar, bringing relief to passengers after a temporary suspension caused by regional security concerns.

In a statement on Tuesday, the airline said its primary focus is now to help passengers return home or continue their journeys with minimal disruption.

“Qatar Airways confirms reinstatement of flights as airspace reopens in the State of Qatar,” the airline announced.

Okay.ng reports that the carrier temporarily suspended flights after Qatari authorities closed national airspace on Monday amid heightened regional tensions and concerns over possible retaliatory actions from Iran following U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

With operations now back on track, Qatar Airways has deployed additional ground staff at Hamad International Airport to assist with logistics, rebooking, and traveler support.

“Our focus at this time is to help our passengers return home or reach their onward journey safely and smoothly,” the airline stated.
“We’ve deployed extra ground staff at Hamad International Airport to support you as we resume operations.”

The airline emphasized its commitment to safety and efficiency as it works to restore full service and accommodate affected travelers.

Passengers are encouraged to check with the airline or their travel agents for updated flight schedules and travel advisories.
