The Dollar to Naira exchange rate today in the black market has been updated by Okay.ng using figures obtained from currency traders in Lagos and other major exchange hubs across Nigeria.

As of this morning, the United States Dollar (USD) is buying at ₦1,523.00 and selling at ₦1,535.00 in the parallel market, widely referred to as the black market.

Traders told Okay.ng that demand for forex remains steady but slightly lower than earlier in the week, reflecting moderated activity from importers and tuition fee payers. They added that the black market remains sensitive to daily fluctuations caused by liquidity levels, speculation, and policy expectations.

For those checking the official CBN dollar to naira rate today, the Central Bank of Nigeria continues to post figures on the Investors’ and Exporters’ (I&E) window, typically lower than parallel market rates. Okay.ng reports that the apex bank has repeatedly urged Nigerians to conduct foreign currency transactions through authorised financial institutions.
