The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the official closure of the 2025 Computer-Based Test (CBT) recruitment examination, urging applicants to await further directives exclusively through its verified communication channels.
The update was issued on Thursday via the Board’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, accompanied by a notice reiterating that the recruitment process has now moved past the examination stage.
According to the Board, the next phase of the recruitment exercise will be announced soon, and applicants are encouraged to remain vigilant and rely solely on information posted through CDCIFB-approved platforms.
“The CBT Examination is now closed. Keep following our official communication channels for updates and announcements on the next stage soon,” the statement read.
The Board further cautioned the public to disregard any information not originating from its authorised channels, noting the rise in misleading posts and fake notices circulating online.
“The public is advised to disregard any information or publication not sourced from our official channels,” CDCFIB added.
The recruitment exercise has witnessed significant national interest, with thousands of applicants participating in the CBT stage across the country.
