The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that it is moving to the next phase of its ongoing nationwide recruitment exercise, with shortlisted candidates now invited for physical screening and document verification.
Okay News reports that the update was issued on Thursday in a statement signed by Maj. Gen. A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), Secretary to the Board.
According to the Board, applicants who “performed well” in the earlier stages have been selected on merit and are required to log into the official recruitment portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, between Monday, 1 December and Wednesday, 3 December 2025, to choose their preferred screening venue and date.
The Board stressed that all official communication regarding this stage of the recruitment will be conducted solely through the CDCFIB portal and urged candidates to ignore any emails or messages from unofficial channels.
The physical screening exercise is scheduled to hold nationwide from Monday, 8 December to Friday, 12 December 2025, covering all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Maj. Gen. Jibril congratulated the successful applicants and reaffirmed that the selection process adhered strictly to Federal Character principles and the manpower needs of each of the services under the Board.
