Former Lagos governorship candidate Abdulazeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, says he has briefed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on how local government administrations in Lagos State are utilising their resources, particularly federal allocations.
Jandor spoke after meeting the president at his Lagos residence during the Christmas holidays.
He praised Tinubu for what he described as ‘courageous economic policies that have improved access to funds at the grassroots level.’
He told the president that several Lagos local governments have been able to commission roads, health centres, customary courts and other projects within just 100 days in office, attributing the progress to improved accountability and increased funding.
Jandor, who recently returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC), also expressed optimism about Tinubu’s political future, predicting a decisive victory for the president in the 2027 election.
The former PDP candidate said Tinubu’s growing political influence and alignment between the federal and state governments would strengthen governance and development across the country.
