The Nigerian Air Force has announced the release of the shortlist for applicants seeking enlistment through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025, inviting successful candidates to attend a selection interview in Kaduna.
Okay News reports that the Nigerian Air Force disclosed that the names of shortlisted applicants have been uploaded on its official recruitment portal, marking the next phase of the DSSC 34 enlistment process.
According to the service, the selection interview will take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna from January 12 to February 8, 2026.
In a public announcement issued on January 4, 2026, and signed by Ehimen Ejodame, Air Commodore and Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, the Air Force stated: “The Nigerian Air Force wishes to inform the general public, particularly applicants for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) 34/2025, that the list of shortlisted candidates for the DSSC 34 Selection Interview has been uploaded on the NAF Recruitment Portal.”
The statement further confirmed that “successful candidates are hereby invited to attend the DSSC 34 Enlistment Interview, scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, from 12 January to 8 February 2026.”
Okay News reports that the Air Force explained that candidates will be interviewed in batches, strictly according to the timetable published on the recruitment website.
It warned that applicants must adhere fully to the stated schedule and all guidelines, stressing that failure to comply could result in disqualification.
“All invited candidates are strongly advised to carefully read and strictly comply with all instructions provided on the portal,” the announcement stated, adding that “candidates must report as scheduled for their respective batches, as failure to adhere to the stated guidelines may lead to disqualification.”
The Nigerian Air Force also encouraged shortlisted applicants to study additional materials available on the portal, including guidance for prospective officers and airmen, as well as the Armed Forces of Nigeria Harmonised Terms and Conditions of Service.
