Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold, born Adekunle Kosoko, has announced the arrival of twins with his wife and fellow artiste Simi, expanding their young family.
Okay News reports that the award-winning singer shared the news on Wednesday via his Snapchat story, where he expressed gratitude in a brief but emotional message.
“Asked God for another child and He blessed me double,” he wrote, confirming the birth of the twins.
The announcement puts to rest weeks of speculation among fans and followers of the couple.
In December 2025, Simi had posted a short clip from Adekunle Gold’s music video My Love Is the Same, accompanied by the caption, “From my baby, for my babies.”
The video showed the singer with a noticeable baby bump, prompting widespread reports that the couple was expecting another child.
Adekunle Gold and Simi, who are regarded as one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity couples, tied the knot in a private ceremony in January 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration that endeared them to fans.
The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Adejare Kosoko, fondly called Deja, in May 2020.
