Several police officers in New York, decided to snack on a woman’s pastries after arresting her for selling merchandise on a train without a license.

Several women have reported that they have recently been arrested or fined by NYPD officers for selling crispy cakes on the city’s subway system.

One woman said that after being arrested, police confiscated her pastries, took her to a police station and snacked on the treats in front of her.

The police officers seized the pastries, saying that they need them for evidence.

43-year-old Ana Alvarado of Queens, said that she has been arrested seven times in the last two and half years, but still sells snacks to feed herself and her two children, aged 9 and 12.

The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) said that any commercial activity in the subway system is illegal unless a seller receives permission.

Vendors accused of selling food without a license can face fines ranging from $500 to $1,000.
