INEC Declares APC’s Aminu Bello Masari Winner Katsina Gubernatorial Poll

Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has on Sunday been declared the winner of the Katsina State Governorship elections.

The Resident Commissioner of the National Electoral Commission, INEC, Alhaji Ibrahim Bagobiri declared the candidate of the APC in the gubernatorial poll winner having polled a total number of 943,85 votes to beat his major challenger from the ruling PDP by 476,768 votes.

The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner said “the APC candidate having secured the majority votes in the election is hereby declared winner as satisfied by the electoral body.”
