VIDEO: Massive Laughter After Mayor Forgets To Turn Off The Microphone While using The Toilet.

A mayor was left embarrassed when he returned to a council meeting to hear people laughing.

The council meeting in a town in Texas, was interrupted by laughter after the mayor shared his bathroom trip with everyone.

Mayor Dale Ross took a break in the middle of the city council meeting, and accidentally left his microphone on as he used the bathroom.

City councilwoman Rachel Jonrowe had just begun to talk about the serious issue of antibiotic resistance when he excused himself and walked out.

Moments later, he was heard relieving himself in the bathroom.

Jonrowe did her best to continue her speech, but could not help but break into laughter as the mayor was heard flushing the toilet.

He then flushed, left the bathroom and apparently did not wash his hands before rejoining the meeting.

The council meeting continued without anyone in the room addressing the mayor or telling him why people were laughing.

The video of the incident was uploaded to the Internet, where it quickly went viral.
