Marilyn Ogar, who was until recently Department of State Services, DSS, deputy director, public relations, has been recalled after been transferred to Maiduguri, Borno state.

The Cable reports that Ogar, whose transfer was among the new postings since President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Lawal Musa Daura as the acting DSS director-general, was recalled back for reasons unknown.

The report further claimed that Ogar was recalled following insinuations that her transfer was punitive.

Reports also pointed out that the DSS spokesperson has also lost her promotion following the nullification of the recent exercise.

It was further gathered that Buhari refused to swear in the 45 newly promoted State directors last Thursday, July 9, 2015.

Ogar would be remembered for some of her pronouncements, notably in the face-off with the Bring Back Our Girls movement and the DSS raids on the Lagos office of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2014.
