Multiple suicide attacks have been reported early Wednesday morning in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

According to the State Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA) 16 persons have been confirmed dead and several others injured.

The first attack was carried out by three teenage boys at a mosque inside inside Buhari Estate.

According to an eyewitness, the suicide bomber came near the mosque, hugged one of the boys around and blew off himself and others around.
