Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has congratulated Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi on his appointment as the new Ooni of Ife.

The Osun State Government announced Ogunwusi’s on Monday.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Habib Aruna on Monday, Ambode admonished the new monarch to see his appointment as a call to service and to the upliftment of humanity.

He charged the Oba-in-waiting to be courageous in his decisions and to see the unity of the Yoruba race as a priority.

Ambode also congratulated the family members of the new Ooni, urging them to support him morally, physically and spiritually.
