The abductors of Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s cousin, Madam Sarafina Otazi, have reduced their earlier demand of N100 million ransom to N40 million.

Mr Endurance Frank, disclosed yesterday that the kidnappers had contacted the family and were now demanding N40 million ransom before she can be set free. Mr. Frank further noted that the family was relieved after hearing from Sarafina Otazi and appealed to the kidnappers to free her unconditionally.

In a related case, the junior sister of the Bayelsa State Governor, Nancy Dickson who was abducted a day before Sarafina Otazi is still missing as she spent Christmas with her abductors who have refused to make any contact with the family.
