Netflix Officially Arrives in Nigeria

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has confirmed that the streaming platform will expand to about 130 countries in addition to the 60 countries where it already operates.

The countries include Vietnam, Turkey, Singapore, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Poland, Russia, Azerbaijan and many more. This means that Netflix covers every nation on earth.

Hastings called Netflix “truly global TV network.” The company has also added Arabic, Korean and Chinese to its language options.

The expansion comes after Tuesday’s announcement that the company will partner with DreamWorks to distribute new original content in additional markets (except China).Netflix

Hastings added that “One day we hope to get so good at suggestions that we show exactly the show you want for your mood.”

Netflix currently offers a one month free trial after which, you can access the movie streaming platform for the cost of $9.99.
