Arsene-Wenger

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has insisted that Real Madrid will be able to sign players this summer.

The La Liga club and their city rivals, Atletico Madrid, have been hit with a transfer ban, which will prevent them from registering players in June 2016 and January 2017.

This has led to speculations that Madrid will go on a spending spree this month, since they will be able to register new signings.

Wenger, however, believes the ban will be overturned.

“I thought that they would sign players now, at first when I heard the news.

“[But] they will appeal, they will cancel the ban and they will be allowed to buy in the next two transfer windows.

“That’s what will happen,” he said.
