Popular rapper cum label executive, Illbliss has reacted to reports making the rounds that sonorous songstress, Chidinma Ekile has dumped Capital Hill Music/Goretti Company following the expiration of her contract.

You will recall that news surfaced online yesterday, Thursday March 3, 2016, that Chidinma has dumped the label on personal grounds after the expiration of her contract.

Speaking with ERAVE, Illbliss disclosed that the reports are false. “I’m surprised the first time I read the same report online. Chidinma is still very much with the label and I can’t fathom where the peddlers of such news got it from.”

When queried further on the state of Chidinma’s contract, the rapper swiftly replied, “She currently has a running contract with the label.”

Chidinma joined Capital Hill Music on a 5-year record, management and publishing deal in 2011 after her victorious quest in the reality show, MTN Project Fame in 2010. She has released chart topping singles such as ‘Kedike’, ‘Emi Ni Baller’, ‘Lorry’ among several others since she debuted in the highly dominated music scene.

A check on Chidinma’s official twitter handle still has links to Capital Hill Music, with booking numbers and email connecting directly to the label.

Efforts made to reach the singer for comments as at press time proved futile.
